I won’t repeat to much of my last Parahumans audiobook rant but man- I’ve missed these guys so much. I’m so glad it’s not over yet once again waxing emotional about these super cool guys who let me experience this story in an accessible way parahumans audio parahumans worm ward ward web serial worm web serial parahumans audiobook That so many people wanted to come together and share this thing they loved.

I dunno- the imperfections just make it feel like a shared experience and amps up the whole community aspect of a small fandom like Parahumans. Idk, I don’t even wanna know the answers to the questions, but the mere fact that I can look back at my own casual recordings and know exactly where I was and what I was doing and how I felt when I recorded it is the same as the way that I look back on sections of a thing I listen to and know where I was and what I was doing while I was listening to it. Does the reader still have that kitty? What was that text? Who were their roommates? I’m not even mad about it, I love that their mics pic up teeny noises and that like they’re not all producing it in a padded dull room? It feels so personal because the best part about recording things that you do is that it really is a snapshot of this snippet of your life that you record. The phones getting texts! Doors opening! Cars and sirens outside! Roommate footsteps!! Voices in the background!!! THE CAT BELLS!!!!!!!!

God the best part about the Parahumans audiobooks are the background noises.
